A new rumor suggests that Christopher Reeve's Superman, Adam West's Batman, and Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman are all set to have cameo appearances in 'The Flash' movie.
According to Twitter user Mr. Scoop, the film will feature archival footage of all three actors as opposed to CGI which has previously been used to bring back such deceased actors as Marlon Brando as Jor-El in "Superman Returns" and Harold Ramis in "Ghostbusters: Afterlife".
The archival footage will be used as Barry Allen hopscotches through various superhero universes where, as opposed to interacting with Reeve, West, or Carter, he will only see them in action.
Thus far, the only actor confirmed to be featured in a prior superhero role is Michael Keaton returning as Batman. It has also been reported that both Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot will be returning as Batman and Wonder Woman as well as Michael Shannon as General Zod and Antje Traue as Faora from "Man of Steel".
Keep in mind that these cameo appearances by Reeve, West, and Carter are strictly a rumor for now and that neither Warner Bros. or anyone directly attached to the film has confirmed this latest report.
"The Flash" is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Ezra Miller in the title role. The film is currently scheduled to release on June 23, 2023.
